OK Innovate launched in 2017 to convene and cultivate Oklahoma’s entrepreneurial community and back it with actionable pathways, resources, and support that will propel our state to a top-ten ranking.
This is a program developed by the E Foundation, a goal-driven non-profit organization dedicated to creating an actionable, long-range, strategic plan to grow Oklahoma’s economy and improve its citizens’ quality of life. An influential group of visionary leaders, the E Foundation board members are committed to fostering entrepreneurial vision and startup passion across the state.
After learning that Oklahoma is a top-15 state for new business starts in the U.S., they sought to understand why Oklahoma plunges to 35th when evaluating Risk Capital and Entrepreneurial Infrastructure and 45th in Technology Concentration and Dynamism (source), factors that contribute to a higher failure rate or necessitate moving out of state. They are passionate about removing these barriers to success and providing meaningful support to entrepreneurs.
This collaborative initiative unites entrepreneurs and founders with investors, advisors, and other partners who turn big ideas into reality every day.
